Ogun State
Ogun State na one state wey dey for southwest Nigeria. E get boda with Lagos State and Bight of Benin for south, Ondo State for east, and Oyo State plus Osun State for north. For west side, e still touch border wey Nigeria share with Republic of Benin. The capital and bigest city na Abeokuta, and the state get 20 local government arias.
Out of the 36 states wey dey Nigeria, Ogun State na number 24 for size, but e dey among the top 15 most populated states, with population wey reach around 6.4 million as of 2020. For geography side, most part of the state dey inside tropical forest area of Nigeria, but some northern parts dey enter savanna-forest mix zone, while some southern coastal arias reach mangrove region. Ogun Riva and Yewa Riva na the main riva for the state. Omo Forest Reserve wey dey for southeast part of the state na one important conservation area for Nigeria wey get plenty bird species, and na one of the few places wey Nigeria-Cameroon chimpanzee and African forest elephant still dey.[1][2]
