Plot

Di story follow Azere, wey make promise to her papa when she be 12 years old say she go marry Nigerian man and keep her culture, even after she relocate go Canada. But her mama dey always try arrange Nigerian suitors for her, wey dey make things complicated for her.

One day, she meet one tall, fine white guy wey dem call Rafael Castellano, and dem get one-night stand. As time dey go, their relationship begin grow serious, and Azere come dey struggle between her love for Rafael and her promise wey she give her family.

• Azere na main character. She be Nigerian immigrant for Canada wey promise her papa say she go marry Nigerian man. She dey face inner conflict as her relationship with Rafael dey grow.
• Rafael Castellano na tall and handsome white man wey Azere get one-night stand with, wey later turn serious relationship. E make her question her identity and beliefs about culture.
• Azere's mother na strong figure wey want make her daughter marry Nigerian man and keep tradition. She dey put pressure on Azere.
