Peace Effiong (born on 29 November 2009) nah Naija football player wey dey plays as forward. She been play for the Naija womens national under-17 football team and she been dey play for club football for Naija, she follow play for Rivers Angels F.C. Effiong come get international attention for 2024 FIFA Under17 Women's World Cup, where she score goal for Naija during di tournament. [1][2]
Early life and background

She first dey play for one small team wey dem dey call Young Talent 99, before she move enter proper competitive club football. As she dey improve, she later earn call-up enter Nigeria youth national team. Effiong talk say nah her mama really been dey push and support her football dream. For interviews during 2024 FIFA Under-17 Women World Cup, she talk say her mother na her main motivation wey dey ginger am to pursue professional football career.[2][3]
Club career

Her performances for club level help am her make name and later dey come call am put for Nigeria’s youth national team. She been still dey among di attacking players for Rivers Angels for youth competitions and development tournaments wey dey under Nigeria’s national team scouting system.[4][3]
International career
[chenj-am | chenj-am for orijin]Effiong has played for Nigeria at youth level with the Nigeria women's national under-17 football team. She was named in the squad selected for the 2024 FIFA Under17 Women's World Cup, where Nigeria competed against teams including Ecuador and New Zealand in the group stage. During the tournament, Effiong scored a goal in Nigeria’s 4–0 victory against Ecuador and celebrated her first goal at the Under17 Women’s World Cup.[2][1]
She also play for Naija for the African qualifying rounds for di competition and she dey among di attacking lineup alongside other forwards for Flamingos squad. Apart from di World Cup campaign, Effiong been still dey inside Nigeria’s squad for regional youth competitions such as the WAFU B Under17 Girls’ Cup.[3][5]
Effiong dey play as a forward and people know for her ability to score goal and attacking movement. For youth competitions with Nigeria’s Flamingos, Dem been notice say she fit score from far distance and also create goal chances for herself and other players.[6]
