Franca Afegbua
Franca Afegbua (20 October 1943 – 12 March 2023) nah Naija beautician and politician wey been represent Bendel North for de Nigerian Senate in 1983. Dem Elect her as a National Party of Nigeria (NPN) senator, she been dey among de first woman senator wey dem elect for Nigeria.[1]

But Afegbua, wey don win international hairstyling competition for 1977, reason say if she fit gather more women to vote, she fit win. Dat her win for de hairstyling competition don already make her popular for her Etsako area, she been target women voters, and, as her campaign dey move well e con dey to late to stop am. She win small tight victory for de August election, she beat John Umolu. Her time for office end later that year when a military coup come scatter democratic government and end de Second Republic of Naija[3]
