Afrika
Africa na di second biggest kontinent for di world, and e get di second highest number of pipo afta Asia. E cover about 30.3 million km² (11.7 million square miles), including islands wey dey near am. Dis one mean say e dey take 20% of all di land for Earth and 6% of di whole surface. [1]As of 2021, Africa get almost 1.4 billion pipo—dat na about 18% of all di pipo for di world.
Africa get di youngest pipo pass all oda kontinents. [2] For 2012, di average age of pipo for Africa na 19.7 years,[3] but for di whole world, e be 30.4 years.[4] If we check di 2024 predictions, by di year 2100, Africa go don pass 3.8 billion pipo![5]
But as Africa get plenty pipo and land, e still remain di kontinent wey get di poorest pipo if we calculate per person. E dey only better pass Oceania. Wetin cause dis poverty? Some pipo blame am for tins like bad government, colonial time, Cold War wahala, bad climate, and even how white pipo still dey control Africa economy from dia country.
But no mind say Africa no too rich now, di kontinent still get strong future because e dey grow fast, e get plenty young pipo, and e full natural resources wey fit make am rich if dem manage am well.
